The Canon Rebel T3; the entry level camera for the photography enthusiast.

Coming in at a whopping 12.2 megapixels, the Canon t3 brings the DSLR market to the novice photographers. Having a very comfortable design, the Rebel T3 is very easy to operate, and anyone jumping ship from a point-and-shoot camera shouldn’t have too much trouble getting the gist of the controls. With a single scroll wheel to adjust exposure, a shutter button located perfectly on the grip, the Rebel T3 is a viable option for a beginning photographer.

Target Audience: Beginner photographers

Price: Currently the Canon Rebel t3 stands at $449.99 (includes camera body and 18-55mm 3.5 Lens). Some fishing could be done online to find it at a slight discount.

Hands on Take: The construction feels very solid. Overall Canon seems to have built a very durable entry level DSLR.

Pros: For an entry level camera, the Rebel T3 delivers excellent photo quality at an affordable price.

Cons: For a DSLR, it does contain a rather small sensor, compared to the competition; low light photography is greatly affected by this.
