Coming in at a whopping 12.2 megapixels, the Canon t3 brings the DSLR market to the novice photographers. Having a very comfortable design, the Rebel T3 is very easy to operate, and anyone jumping ship from a point-and-shoot camera shouldn’t have too much trouble getting the gist of the controls. With a single scroll wheel to adjust exposure, a shutter button located perfectly on the grip, the Rebel T3 is a viable option for a beginning photographer.

Cons: For a DSLR, it does contain a rather small sensor, compared to the competition; low light photography is greatly affected by this.
